Western Union holiday campaign: Say It With Money

In many cultures, saying how you really feel is hard, even taboo. Many folks struggle with communication skills when it comes to their parents or loved ones. They stumble, they dodge, and they never quite say what they truly want to convey, even though they share the same language.
Sending money is a way of saying it without actually saying it. And its “translation” can contain multitudes: thinking of you, I miss you, take care, get well soon…
Most importantly, the action of sending money shows our deeper, underlying desire to provide possibilities for the ones we love through helping them achieve their wants and needs. And nothing says “I love you” like a huge wad of cash.
In 2023 I worked with Love Street to create Western Union’s holiday campaign, Say it With Money. We shot spots and created unique campaign toolkits for Diwali, Ramadan and Q4 Gifting to be used globally across Western Union markets.
