Create an activation that educates McIlheny employees on Tabasco's portfolio of flavors.
We created the Tabasco Flavor Lab. This event series traveled from Tabasco's headquarters in Avery Island, Louisiana to Bali where employees learned about more than just the #1 selling Red Sauce. Attendees perused the different tasting stations learning about Scoville Heat units, the flavor notes of each sauce and which food and drinks pair best. Brand ambassadors were present to educate attendees on how we as humans perceive flavor and how Tabasco uses that knowledge in the creation of different recipes.
My role in this activation was to brand the event and design all materials from start to finish. I wanted to really play up the "lab" component by using a chalkboard aesthetic for the printed materials. This aligned well with the lab coats and beakers ambassadors used at flavor stations. To tie the "flavor" component back in, we shot each pepper and used them in a knolling style throughout the pieces.
This project won Silver in the International Creativity Award in print and packaging.
